The botanical Garden of the Aegean is easily accessible by car, bus or local transport.
In the garden yard there is enough space available for parking of vehicles and buses.
By car or bus you will head to the village of Nenita. There, both at the entrance of the village and the main square there are signs that will lead you to the botanical garden of the Aegean.
If you prefer local transportation there are several frequent itineraries, especially during the summer months. You will disembark in the village of Nenita and call us to receive you.

Do not forget that the botanical garden is located in the heart of the “Mastic’s Land”, in the famous mastic one of which is the village Nenita, where our facilities are hosted. The inhabitants of the mastihohoria of Chios, centuries ago, had chosen to build them inside the island in order to be protected against attacks of pirates that coveteded in the local treasure the mastic.
So most mastic are “villages”, but quite preserved but less, but all with eklpliktikes hidden natural beauties.
Most villages had the so-called “ports” coastal small settlements or small ports for their needs. In Nenita you will find the beach of Vokaria and Gridiwn, where restaurants with fresh fish and seafood are operated. Also in the square of the village and around it operate taverns and cafes for food and ouzo.
From the Nenita are very close to the famous beach “Mavra Volia”, The Cosmopolitan “Komi” and with only 20 minutes of driving you will find yourself in the “Mastic Museum” and the enchanting “Pyrgi”.
