In 2006 AGOLMATE S.A (with chairman & CEO Mrs CHRYSANTHI BALABANOGLOY) undertakes the construction of Botanical Garden on behalf of the AEGEAN REGIONAL Authorities.
Hosts only native plants.
It is important to note that the botanical garden of the Aegean is the only botanical garden in the world, which includes only native and aromatic plants of the Aegean.
Thousands of people visited us.
To date more than 100,000 visitors have passed the facilities of the Aegean Botanical Garden.

The Foster company.
In 2006 as memebers of constructional company “AGOLMATE” which was specialized in construction of big parks, whose CEO was Mrs Chrysanthi Valavanoglou and Project Manager was Mr Nilokaps Tzoumas, we constructed the Botanical Garden as a demand of North Aegean Regional Authorities.
2007-2017. The Garden operates under the auspices of the prefecture.
From 2007 until 2017 the Botanical Garden was initially operated under the auspices of the Prefecture of Chios and then due to changes in the administrative structure of the National Government, it passed into the hands of the Municipality of Chios.
2007, the project is delivered.
In 2007 after the completion of the construction the project is delivered complete and according to the specifications in the then, Prefecture of Chios.
2017, the Myrovolos Chios ΙΚΕ.
In 2017 the Municipality of Chios decides to lease the premises to a private company. People who worked in the construction and loved this unique work, we established the company Myrovolos Ike and outbid in a competition undertaking the renovation, management, maintenance and exploitation of the Botanical Garden of the Aegean.

Nikos is a contractor manufacturer and was the project manager during the construction period of the Botanical Garden of the Aegean (2006-2007), as technical director of the manufacturing company.
In 2017 they recommend together with Chrysanthi Balabanogloy of the company Myrovolos Chios Ike, taking over their own child, the botanical garden of the Aegean.

Chrysanthi is a graduate of the Graz University of Austria, a licensed electrical engineer, and for a long time was in Greece a contractor for public works, large parks!
The most interesting…. Her company took over the construction of the garden in 2006.
She declares determined to reorganize the Garden and give it the international view that a unique Botanical Garden deserves!
