Την 26-5-2018 επισκέφθηκαν τον Βοτανικό κήπο τα τμήματα της Γ’Τάξης του Γυμνασίου Βροντάδου. Ενημερώθηκαν για τις εγασίες ανακατασκευής και ανασύστασης του φυτικού κεφαλαίου του Κήπου. Ξεναγήθηκαν στους χώρους φύτευσης και απόλαυσαν παραδοσιακά εδέσματα στο καφενείο του Κήπου.
